The situation spirals out of control as the ghosts begin to possess members of the crew. The film's second half delves into a poignant and lengthy flashback that reveals the backstory of these tormented souls. The central figure in this tragic tale is Ganga (Nithya Menen), a disabled woman who is brutally murdered along with her lover, Shiva (played by Raghava Lawrence in a mass-hero avatar), and their friends. The villain is Marudhu (Jayaprakash), a ruthless moneylender who resorts to murder when Ganga refuses his marriage proposal for his mentally ill son. The second half of the film transforms into a gripping revenge saga as the ghosts, led by Ganga, seek to settle their score with Marudhu, using Raghava as their conduit.
