"Happy New Year" is a dance-based comedy-drama film that tells the story of a group of friends who come together to participate in a dance competition. The movie follows the journey of four friends - Manju (Deepika Padukone), Pooja (Priyanka Chopra), Nikita (Sonu Gupta), and Milan (Chitrangada Singh) - who were once part of a dance group called "Friends Forever". Years later, they reunite to compete in the "Happy New Year" dance competition, with the help of their former dance teacher, Raja (Shah Rukh Khan).
