DMCA takedown notices are submitted regularly, targeting both original repositories and their forks. One recent notice documented the removal of repositories containing counterfeit license keys generated using illicit tools such as keygens. The notice explicitly states that these "counterfeit license keys are generated using illicit tools to create keys that are accepted by the product, but these are not authentic keys nor were they paid for under a valid license to the product".
Place management interfaces on an isolated VLAN with no outbound internet access.
