The story is set in the early 1700s and follows Jonathan Green (Jason Flemyng), a brilliant but eccentric British cartographer. After being chased out of England by his lover's furious father, Lord Dudley (Charles Dance), Jonathan embarks on a scientific voyage east to map the uncharted regions of Europe and Transylvania.

Helmed by director Oleg Stepchenko, the movie spent years in development to craft intricate, dense CGI and grand physical set designs.
