IO Interactive designed Hitman 3 to validate all player profile data, challenges, and item inventories directly through their official servers. When you launch the game in Offline Mode: Mastery levels are locked to zero. Challenges cannot be completed or tracked. The inventory defaults to bare-minimum starting gear.
