The main vignette follows as a husband and father returning home one evening, expecting to see his wife, Nancy (Charlie Forde), and his biological daughter, Mara. Instead, he finds a young woman named Tracy (Jane Wilde), who claims she is now his daughter.

In her place is a strange young woman (Coco Lovelock) pretending to be her child.
