Doraha suffers from the same fatal flaw as most Ullu originals: it mistakes nudity for narrative depth. The erotic scenes are lengthy, gratuitous, and mechanically inserted, often halting whatever flimsy plot exists. Instead of using intimacy to advance character or tension, the show lingers on repetitive, soft-focus sequences that quickly become boring. After the third such scene, you realize Doraha has nothing else to offer.
Doraha stands at a crossroads, indeed—one where one path leads to meaningful storytelling, and the other to cheap sensationalism. Sadly, it takes the wrong turn and never looks back.
